1. Can I play Sudoku on my Kindle?

Yes! You can purchase books of our Sudoku through the Amazon Kindle Store.

As soon as you purchase a book you can follow the link supplied within, and your Sudoku pack will appear on your Puzux account homepage. You only need to follow the link in each book once – your books will appear automatically any time you log in.

2. How do I fill in Sudoku puzzles?

Using the Kindle's 5-way controller, navigate to the box you want to type your number into and then press that number on the keypad. If you want to enter notes, click n before typing – see below.

Your answer will appear in the box, and you can use the controller to move to the next one. The Sudoku will allow you to type multiple notes but only one answer number (which is all that's legal!)

3. Can I keep notes?

Absolutely! Notes are one of the most important features in helping you to solve a Sudoku.

Notes will appear in Sudoku grid boxes in a smaller font, allowing you to keep multiple numbers to use later.

To keep notes, simply type n before you enter your numbers. So n1234 will display:

Notes

If you’ve decided on the note to use as your answer, just type that number in the same box without putting n before it:

Notes

You can type n again and add more numbers if you want to change your answer back to a note. To remove any note numbers, type n into the box and delete the ones you no longer want with the 5-way controller and the DEL key.

4. Can I get hints?

Yes you can! Click on the Give a hint link and an extra number will be revealed for you. The new number will appear in a gray square to let you know where it is on the board. Want to start over again?

You can Reset any puzzle to its original state by clicking on that link at the top or bottom of the puzzle.

5. How can I save my progress?

You may save your puzzle at any time by clicking the Save link above or below the Sudoku grid. You can then continue completing this puzzle or leave it and access it later from the load section of your home screen.

Note: a maximum of four puzzles will be shown on your home screen at any one time. You can see and access all your saved puzzles through the View all link in the Load section of your home screen. All the puzzles - saved and unsaved - will be listed in each of your books.

6. Where can I check my answers?

You can check your answers at any point by clicking on the Check answers link at the top or bottom of the Sudoku. Once you confirm you want to do this your Sudoku will be checked.

If the number in any square is wrong it will show larger than the surrounding numbers. If correct, it will stay the same. When you navigate to a wrong answer the square will turn blank, allowing you to enter a different number.

7. How do I see the correct solution?

You can reveal all the answers whenever you choose by clicking the Solve link at the top or bottom of each Sudoku grid. This will display the correct numbers in their corresponding squares. To clear the grid again you can always click on the Reset link.

8. I'm new to this. How do I play Sudoku?

An excellent question.

You have to fill in the grid with numbers between 1 and 9, a single digit in each square. But no row, column, or 3x3 smaller square (which has a bold box around it) can contain more than one instance of any number. You can't have two 1s in the same row, for example.

We provide you with a partially completed grid - after that it's up to you to fill it in according to the rules.

You can find more instructions at www.sudokudaily.net.
